WISE DEVELOPMENT NEWS AND RESOURCES
WISE DEVELOPMENT firmly believes in the power of partnerships, collaboration and co-creation. Through sharing information, contacts and resources, we can work together to elevate both the perception and the position of women and girls globally.
WISE DEVELOPMENT was started in 2000 by Caroline Pinder, and since then has gained a global reputation for consultancy expertise in gender equality and women’s empowerment. Over the years WISE DEVELOPMENT has brought in consultants from both developing and developed countries, and worked on programmes funded by multi-laterals such as the World Bank and IFC, bi-lateral agencies such as DFID and SIDA, and international NGOs such as CARE and Concern.
Founder Caroline Pinder is now moving towards retirement and in 2014 brought in two co-directors to WISE DEVELOPMENT, Georgia Taylor and Dinah Bennett, both with extensive experience in all aspects of development, but always with a special focus on gender equality and women’s empowerment. Under this broader management, WISE DEVELOPMENT is expanding, making stronger links with consultants and women’s networks around the globe, and continuing to provide high quality expertise to development programmes.
